Gary McCarver, MBA, CFP® is a Director of Financial Planning at SEIA with more than 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industries. Earlier in his career, Gary was a founding partner of a Registered Investment Advisory firm, which he sold his interest in after ten years. Today, he helps individuals, families, and business owners work toward their goals through the creation of personalized financial plans.
Gary specializes in an integrated approach to retirement, estate, and legacy planning. He focuses on helping clients transition from the wealth accumulation phase of life to the wealth distribution and transfer phases. Gary understands that financial planning is a holistic approach, recognizing that each goal can impact all others and shape a future full of possibilities. For him, financial planning is as much about sharing your dreams as disclosing assets.
Beyond his professional work, Gary has published seven internationally performed plays and has served for over a decade on the Board of Directors for local non-profit organizations.
Gary earned an MBA from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, and also studied at the University of California, Irvine. He has held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification since 1984 and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as a California Insurance License (#0573104).
