Signature Fund for Giving
The Signature Fund for Giving (SFFG or Fund) is dedicated to enhancing SEIA’s relationship with our partner organizations to empower our community’s youth.
We are here to collaborate with these organizations to assist in achieving their missions and remain committed to our next generation as part of SEIA’s legacy. The Signature Fund for Giving accomplishes its mission of empowering our community’s young people by utilizing our combined efforts of fundraising, supporting employee volunteer participation, and through generating in-kind donations.
Since inception, the Fund has raised $1,241,000 and has granted $991,000 including $400,000 to our four partner organizations. Our partners include A Place Called Home, Toberman Neighborhood Center, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and Second Story.
The UCLA Athletic Department and Bruin Basketball are dedicated to giving back to their community and helping others in need. SEIA was again proud to participate as the National Champion Sponsor with the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation for the 14th annual Dribble for Victory over Cancer at UCLA. More than 450 dribblers gathered on the UCLA campus on Sunday, October 3rd to continue a meaningful tradition alongside the Bruin men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Born as Dribble for the Cure in 2008, the Dribble event at UCLA marked 11 years in a row of eclipsing the $100,000 mark. The 2021 running total represents the highest mark since 2017.
UCLA reached their goal of raising more than $176,000 through donations and sponsorships for pediatric cancer research and to support the Cancer Research Program at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA.
