Signature Fund for Giving
The Signature Fund for Giving (SFFG or Fund) is dedicated to enhancing SEIA’s relationship with our partner organizations to empower our community’s youth.
On June 12th, employees of SEIA gathered for a farewell celebration to honor Jonathan Zechner’s leadership and service of A Place Called Home. Jonathan has been the Executive Director of APCH for the past 13 years and has led the organization to reach incredible milestones to include serving over 600,000 families in South Central Los Angeles with food resources and household goods, providing 12,000 families and community members support services and neighborhood engagement activities, having a 95% high school graduation rate for their members, and providing over 3,000 hours of mental health counseling for members in the community.
The evening raised $1,028,574 toward a Future Fund goal of $1 million in support of the APCH Technology Transformation initiative. The purpose of the initiative is to bridge the digital divide in South Central Los Angeles by equipping generations of young people and their families with technological access and skills to thrive in our digital world.
